If we are only going to take one LB this year Id like it to be Jones

Word now is 2 LBs. Agree that Jones should be 1 of them. His all around versatility makes him a slight leader over Claiborne for me personally but I think Claiborne is the better pure LB. Jones also really wants that LSU offer.

You guys think Jones projects to LB? Isn't he like 245 now? I thought he probably projects more to DE.

He projects at LB right now and that's what most mean when saying how verstile he is because it's easy to see him as a DE down the line and I even think he could get to 285-290+ and play DT in a couple of years. He is. Just a very good athlete that happens to be very big. We cannot let him leave the state imo. We've taken less talented players in the last couple of years and a couple in this class already imo. Not to say any of those kids were/are bad takes, just how much I like Jones.

#22 in LA on DD's list, 4th best LBer. Could be a MLB which we do need. Worth a close look at camp this summer.
