anyone know why we haven't offered this kid? He moved to San Antonio from New Orleans after Katrina. I have a hard time figuring out why we slow play talented recruits that bleed purple and gold.

Because there are a number of DT prospects ahead of him right now.

I know it's easy to get mad at not offering someone who is such a huge fan, but if that's all the coaches did then we wouldn't be where we are today

This not a knock on Tevin but i believe Vincent is the better propect. Not because Vincent is rivals 250 but because he made 150 tackles playing DT!!

The 2 biggest reasons Lawson has an offer over Taylor are Lawson's versatitlity and ability to play both DT and OL. Some actually think he's a better OL prospect. The other is that Lawson is 270+ and Taylor is 250+ and not from lack of effort or trying to get bigger. Taylor has big question marks as to whether he will ever get big enough for DT. We see most kids and think 240 means 285-300 under Moffit but some kid's frame doesn't translate for that much weight and some just can't gain significant weight. Now the question becomes is Taylor a take as a SDE? I like him myself but I don't as a SDE. Doesn't fit imo but others would disagree.
