Eddy Furniss.. Thought I would share a CSB!

My son's team played against Eddy Furniss' coached team yesterday for the tournament championship.. Thought I would share a few pics. He is a class act all the way and so is his team.. Made my boys day to meet him!

9AA USSSA and I have a 10 yr old plays 10AA.

Thought Furniss would have a kid in major category...

I knows there some badasses in AA, AAA, etc.... till they get bumped up.

BIG TIME. Those were the most exciting days of college baseball by far for me.

Well if it makes you feel better, his team was an 8 AAA coach pitch team, played up and came in and won the whole thing!!

so they played in the 9's? They went from coach pitch to hitting live pitching?

yes they were pretty darn good. we lost 10-9 on their last at bat... was a great game, well played. and like I said--Class acts all around

I remember when he hit three hrs in one game I believe. Everyone was cheering Eddie. I remember the first time hear that since Eddie Kennison ran back a punt in TS.

It would have if I was there, yes.. I am in the middle of the gulf of mexico so no I was not there. I know the kids were excited by the way they talked on the phone about it!! Its all good though!

Gawd that ball he hit to win the NC was absolutely freakin smoked.....

Never will forget it....my dad had gotten pissed, went outside mumbling something about can't even the #&^T*&% ball out of the infield....think that was right before Barbier got a hold of one.....
