Caught an Eddy Furniss foul ball at the Winn-Dixie showdown when I was really young. One of my prized possessions growing up...

The only two Tiger swings that were more fluid were Hawpe and Walker, IMO. Those days are over but here's to new memories

Saw him at the game last friday against Michigan. That and talked to Craig Biggio. His son plays for notre dame in case anyone was wondering why he was in baton rouge.

Had several classes with him in college. Very nice and smart guy. I had a friend that had coaches committee season tickets and we'd sit behind the dugout. He was never too good to come over and chat before the games, even without prompting. Class act!

I remember the first time hear that since Eddie Kennison ran back a punt in TS.

You mean during the dark days of Curley when EK fielded that punt against State on the goal line, stepped about 3 yards back into the endzone and then proceeded to take it 103 yards for a touchdown?

Saw Furniss hit one (line drive) out of Hoover Met during SEC tournament once, ball went all the way to the tree tops in right field, longest ball I've ever seen hit there since the tournament has been played there...

some of ya'll may recognize my youngest boy in second pic... We went to a game couple of years ago and They did a close up of his baseball autographed by Mikie Mahtook then they panned up and zoomed up close and told him to smile. It was part of Cox's pregame show for a little while, not sure if anyone remembers that little tidbit

and I know CSB!!
