I never read the books so to me the story was very interesting. I was very suprised by Taylor Kitsch. He is usually very blah to me but he was very good in this.

I am surprised. What other movies did you like just so we know you are a credible judge?

Are you the type of person that thinks Transformers 2 was a good movie?

LOL no. My top 5 movies are probably

1. Shawshank redemption
2. Usual Suspects
3. Empire Strikes back
4. Pulp Fiction
5. Anything with Daniel Day Lewis

Hope that helps

This trailer reminds me of 10,000 B.C. or Clash of the Titans, both movies bombed.

I went in with low expectations and was pleased with what I saw. Dragged a little at times, but good overall.

You have to remember these books helped inspire Lucas to frick up........I mean write Star Wars so you might see a few Star warsesque moments. That doesn't mean they are bad.

Don't look for a sequel, this movie bombed BAD.

LINK

It's not even going to finish #1 at the box office.

Funny how they make these predictions when the movie hasn't even been showing a full day yet. Some people just really want to see things fail.

Rotten tomatoes has it at 50% Might not be too bad. I might just see cuz Kitsch played Riggins in Friday Night Lights.

I'm just going to pretend that no one tried to make the connection between ERB and Lucas b/c you're far off if you did.

Lucas was influenced by Buck Rogers not JCfM.

That's all I'm going to say before I get into an argument and show someone up because I own alllllllllll of almost of Lucas's and ERB's works. By all means try me.

Btw I have a few 1st edition Tarzan's starting with
"of the Apes."
