i have a co-worker that wants to sell a ruger sr40. i have absolutely no knowledge of this gun. looked around online a bit just to see the price ranges. he is asking $350. it is only a couple months old. is it an ok gun for that price?

Seems like a pretty good price, I think those go for between 400-450 new.

I have the SR9 and love it. Been wanting to try the SR40 to see how it shoots.

Take it from me, if you shoot alot the .40 get expensive fast. I wish I would've gotten a 9mm just for cost of bullets sake.

He ended up coming down to 300 so I got it. Just put 200 rounds through it with no problems. Think I'm going to keep this one in the truck.

I want a 9mm just for that reason. Learn how to shoot good with cheap bullets.
