#MikeDetillier: You have seen the last game in a Saints uniform for #CarlNicks and #MarquesColston. #AFR @1045espn -- Matt Moscona (@MattMoscona)

Is this a done deal or is this just speculation?

Speculation. You know the media is finished with fact checking as far as the Saints are concerned.

ETA: Most of the sports medias current info comes from this guy:

not a done deal but more than just mere speculation also.

Best way to describe it maybe would be "most likely outcome"

Well considering the money available and league wide interest in the two it's almost a certainty.

i'm with him on nicks. that guy's cashing in and i don't think they'll be able to afford him

i think he was seriously overvaluing marques colston. he'll get something reasonable in the market.

Nicks gotta be gone.
Colston is still 50/50 I think... same as Meach.

The buzzards in our own division would be circling if they were smart.

Signing PT, Jahari Evans and Lance Moore to pretty big contracts.

You should probably throw Roman Harper in there

actually kinda in the middle of the pack in cap room. It's a fluid number but THIS LIST which looks pretty up to date has 19 teams that have the same or less space than the Saints.

Harper was a big mistake. We seriously overpaid for him.

It's scary to think what teams like the Bengals and 49ers who were already good teams could do with all that available cap, considering they know what they are weak at.

49ers picking up one or two of the top FA WR's would be pretty frightening.

With a win now attitude. It almost worked too. So close.

I'm having trouble understanding drafting for a win-now attitude
It takes time to develop players.

Scary? Don't the Bucs have the most or second most space at around $60mil? Yikes, that's a lotta jack to add a few stars to a team that was 10-6 in 2010.

not worth mentioning to me because last year they had nearly just as much and only went out and purchased a punter for well more than he was worth. The Glazers will get to just over the Cap floor and probably be content, they seem more focused on Manchester United than the Bucs.

2010 was a fluke, everyone saw that. They are still a long way away, plenty of defensive pieces needed, and who knows with their offense if Freeman is good enough.

I'd like to see the Saints pick up Vincent Jackson.
