Gamestop hustlers tempted me to preorder witcher 2 . The witcher apparently was a pretty good RPG on PC from what I've gathered on here.
Game comes out mid april. Anyone here getting this title? Any comments on the first title?

GD nagging from Gamestop about pre-orders.

Yeah they convinced me I needed some "day 1" dlc for mass effect 3 for 10 bucks. Whatever, might as well.
Gamestop gonna gamestop..they gotta pay the bills too.
Anyways, witcher 2... I'm tempted. I enjoy rpgs.

Played it on PC but never had a chance to beat it, pretty good RPG.

Yeah, the clever bastards gave me some literature to read.... After reading about it, game sounds pretty cool.
of course everything sounds cool when printed on paper, I wonder how the combat is.

Played it on PC. Pretty damn good game, lots of nudity if that makes the translation from PC to 360

Witcher 1 was awesome. I think #2 would definitely rivals Skryim.
Kinda pissed it isn't coming out for PS3 (yeah I know...first world problems), but Ill probably get it for 360.

Yeah, seems odd they aren't doing it for ps3 as well but apparently they've designed the cameras and UI "specifically for xbox" on this iteration.
Seems like a cool game, I am intrigued. Damn you, gamestop, for using the fact I preordered mass effect 3 as a lead in for offering me this. Almost like they know what they are doing...
I always worry about rpgs on consoles due to keybindings and having limited buttons on console to bind actions to. This printout eases my apprehension somewhat, though

The dev team is actually very small, and I think they have stated that they do not want to sacrifice the quality of 1 version to make 2.

Given that they have a small developing team, going from PC to 360 would be easiest. PS3 isn't easy for porting. Also, Witcher 1 is ok but nothing special in gameplay wise. Great story though.
