I get that feeling as well and think Tevin Lawson finally drops soon as well. I really think he's having trouble holding off. It's pretty obvious he wants to get it over with. I also get the inkling that a Texas kid will pop soon as well. Not sure if next but sooner than later.

Do you think we offer Miles when he and Massington visit on the 10th?

There are soo many prospects to keep up with this early in the Recruiting Season its hard for me. I do appreciate all the Daily Recruiting Updates people are posting though.

I agree that a couple of Texas guys could be very close since all the jr. days are winding down and most Texas guys know they aren't getting a UT offer.

anyone know how good lawson is? haven't heard much about him. is he a take for sure with gilmore and other dts having LSU high.

Lawson sounds like a guy we are telling to wait a little to see where the pieces fall. With guys like Justin Manning, Gilmore, Golden (Still think he reconsiders at some point)and others, Lawson is kind of on that second tier of prospects

thats what I thought. what la. native would tell LSU to wait when that is his only offer. don't think he is a take unless we take 3 dts. which is possible.

any info. on the kid j. antoine that a&m offered?

Surprised he got such a big offer this soon. Don't think he is an SEC player. Good athlete and can play either WR or DB. I understand A&M wanting to gain a pipeline in LA but seems like they are reaching a little now to gain that pipeline

Antoine also might be DeSean Smith's cousin. I think I read that in a recruiting article somewhere. I don't think it will have much sway on his recruiting, but it's information.

Antoine basically seems like the generic 6'0 180 guy that LA produces in droves each year.

Memphis, I think Massington does for sure and also think Miles but not as confident. Knowing my track record so far with this class though, it'll probably be Miles offered and not Massington. I sincerely hope both get offered though. I like our chances if we do unless Texas offers both.

I think Lawson is a take. Les told him he'd take his commit whenever he's ready so I'd assume that is still the case. He's not holding off because he doesn't want LSU. Some members of his family told him to hold off and see who else offers and make sure before commiting. Lawson himself has said a few times since the offer that it's hard to hold off. I think he's a good athletic DT prospect but is very raw and will need a redshirt. Not as athletic as Logan and Quentin Thomas imo but similar to those 2 in terms of how he projects and his rawness as a DT. Some think he'll end up on the OL still. I think we're trying to get 3 DTs this year and I'm all for getting one in the bank and then continue pushing for the OOS kids and hope to grab 2.
