Is it just me or do Asians not call the race card in menial instances like this as compared to other minority groups.

Maybe cause it is usually positive stereotypes (except for having a tiny penis, Godzilla, and bad driving).

Would it be offensive if the Melo flavor had watermelon pieces?

It's always the vocal minority, no pun intended, that are always complaining about tiny shite like this when there are actual racial issues happening in America.

Ben and Jerry's, being the smart multi-national corporation that they are, are just apologizing preemptively to avoid any further bad press that will effect their brand image.

Of course they could have avoided all this with just a bit of forethought and sensitivity, unless you subscribe to the belief that there's no such thing as bad publicity.

How exactly are fortune cookies offensive?
If they made an ice cream for me and put beignet, king cake, or pralines in it because I'm from Louisiana, I would not be offended.
