What are the corn/feed rules?
Any antler limit?

Yes and yes.
You need to figure out what Area you will be hunting, which determines the antler restrictions.
Check out the MS Game and Fishing website for all the information you need.

You can feed them, but can't have the feeder in your line of sight from your stand.
I don't mind paying the out of state license fee for seeing the game they have. The damn near 500 is for small game, archery, big game, primitive weapon, waterfowl, etc. Each license has its own fee. If you were to only gun hunt deer, it would be in the 275 range.

The zone I'm in (near the river) is 12" inside spread or 1 15" main beam minimum. I think the other zones are 10" inside spread and 13" main beam minimum IIRC

I live and hunt MS now. Feed can be confusing because they have dates that you can feed corn, protein pellets, or combination of them. No feed can be placed on the ground, broadcast feeders are fine but you can't dump a bag-o-corn on the ground. Feeders must be at least 100 yards and it and the corn can not be in the line of site from your stand. We don't bother. Salt licks are ok, thats all we do along with green fields. As stated before there are size limits for bucks. Zones 1 and 2 are 10" inside spread or 13" main beam. Zone 3, (West of I-55) where I am, is 12" inside spread or 15" main beam.

MSWebfoot speaks the truth. MSDWFP's website has a downloadable pdf file with helpful hunting season info including what to look for on rack sizes based on hunting zone and a map of hunting zones. I have it on my computer if you want me to email it to you. But MSWebfoot pretty much covered it!

I'm joining a MS lease this year with some friends that are currently in it. My first MS deer hunting experience. I see the Buck regs and think this will be good in teh long run. I guess. Area 2 and is mostly pine. The buck regs may be a bit tough under these circumstances. There were a few nice ones however killed this past year. I can't pass up this chance to be with my friends for the price they will be offering.

and out of sight. Can't be 100 yards down the food plot.

paint it gold and put spinners on it. Make sure it is 100 yards down the food plot though. It will be Out of Sight and Dynomite.
