Where were you when Morris hit his CWS winning HR?

Since the season is right around the corner, i thought I'd start this thread to see if everyone else remembers as vividly as I do where they were at and what they had did. Its crazy how picture perfect the memory is.
I was at my friends house after a little league game and we were sitting at the table eating. We went nuts.

My parents house in West Monroe...I remember running up and down the hall screaming and losing my shite. My dad came running in and didn't believe me...he had given up on them.

I was working at a restaurant, and the only TV we had was in the bar. I had one table of old people in the non-smoking section, and they were the only table in the restaurant, and I was pretty much neglecting them to watch the game. When the got the second out on us, I walked out the bar and was at the table taking an order when my manager came running out the bar screaming 'homerun homerun, tigers win!!" at the top of his lungs and tackled me about 10 feet from the table...It was awesome...

At my brother's house. LSU had played so great against such a great Miami team that the thought of losing didn't seem as agonizing as it would've normally felt.
As Morris got up a home run never even crossed my mind, I just wanted a hit to tie the game. Still may be the most exciting sports event, college or pros, I've ever seen.

Just returned home form my son's little league game and managed to catch the 7th-9th innings. Best 3 innings of baseball ever!

I've shared this before but always love telling the story:
The LSU fans (3 of us, myself and two others) were outnumbered by the Miami fans 10 to 1.
The smack talk was brutal. It started before the game and continued throughout. LSU wouldn't be anything without a Miami guy leading them blah blah blah
9th inning rolls around and the Miami ppl are all over us. It's our championship, we'll win it, can't hit the freshman closer etc....
I shite you not...I called Morris shot. Did I believe it? frick no but I couldn't take it anymore. Told those asshats Morris is winning it right here for LSU....laughter ensues with many- "he hasn't hit a homer all year" quotes ringing out
The INSTANT Warren swang the three of us knew it was either tied up or gone...the 30 or so Miami fans knew too as their asses were out the door by the time our "6" feet hit the ground from excitement
as we rushed to the door to bash da U fans, they were already in the car and hauling arse
We drove around Memphis for the rest of the day with car flags and drunk fools hanging out the windows screaming at everyone that LSU was national champs
They all thought we were insane and looking back we kinda were...very few gave a shite who won the CWS in Memphis
