why would he install linux when wine works on mac. Bootcamp windows is the correct answer.

I am not one of those apple / windows people. I started using mac because I am an iphone developer. Anyone that thinks windows is better than osx just simply hasnt used osx. Is the hardware a rip off yes. Is the OS leaps and bounds above Windows, yes. Do game developers avoid mac like the plague due to its lacking direct x, DEFINITELY YES. What makes windows good for gaming is direct x nothing more. So I still say put windows on your mac.

I'd rather get a PC for half the price for the same/superior hardware and put Windows on it and do my gaming from there.
