How many of you OBers were boy scouts/Eagle scouts? Any good stories?

I was a boy scout for a little while. Ended up quitting because it was too much for my parents between that and swimming and baseball and soccer, and I liked the sports more

Got a Boy scout and Cub Scout at home. Both want to make Eagle. Two cousins are Eagles.

Half of our football team was in our boyscout troop. We would load up after practice and go to troop meetings. Nobody picked on us b/c half of the offensive line and the starting QB were boyscouts

We went to our youngest boys honor roll program last week. Every boy in the den made honor roll. And has been for three years.

i wanted to join when i was a kid, but my dad told me only (slang for homosexuals) were boy scouts. sometimes, he's a real a-hole.

I was at Independence Park for the 75th sleeping in 3" of water with thousands of other scouts. Shitty weekend…

I was a cub scout and then decided to devote my time to sports. I had a blast, but winning every derby got old really quick.

Yup. My dad built us some badass ones too. Lithium grease was the key
