I have been working out and eating healthy and one of the snacks in my meal planner is turkey jerky. I have been looking all of the normal grocery stores etc. and can't seem to find it. Any clues to where I could get some to try?

You want the kind from GNC, but Turkey Jerky is everywhere

Didn't think about GNC. Is it any good?

I get some at the beef jerky outlet in Denham by Bass Pro. The cherry maple turkey jerky is delicious and they have a few other flavors. Might be a little pricy if you'll be eating a lot of it.

Get a dehydrator and make your own. It's pretty easy and will save you a lot of money with how expensive jerkey is. I got one of these a couple months ago - LINK - and I make beef jerkey almost every week now.

I usually buy about 1 - 1.5 lbs at a time, which yields about 1/3 of that, and is about 20 times as much as you'd get in any pack at the store, which is about the same as what you'd pay for a lb of top round.

Freeze it so you can slice it thin. Marinate it overnight. It usually takes about 4 hours to dehydrate 1-2 lbs.

Never made turkey jerky, but I'm sure it's not that difficult. I've made some deer jerky too.

You can dehydrate fruit too, if you want to make cheaper trail mix for snacks.
