Redskins
Bills
Browns

i really can't think of any other fan bases who are this die hard who come back for more every season in droves to home and away games.

I thought of this b/c i woke up this morning thinking is been 21 years since my redskins have been to the big game.

That means almost all my childhood and my young adult years have been watching the redskins suck arse

I wouldn't have 2 of those 3 in the top 5.

Detroit would be #1

I wouldn't put the Bengals, Jags, or Cardinals on the list due to lack of sport. But the Lions, Saints, Vikings, have supported their teams, while taking suckage to an entirely differently level than the Redskins & Bills.

I agree with the OP. I'm a Browns fan and I will continue to support my team although I know they suck. The city hasn't had a title in any sport since 1964 but we still believe.

Art Modell had to move the team to Baltimore in order to win a SuperBowl but our day is coming.

Yeah, the saints are role models for sticking with your team through hard times

Well the Bills did have 4 Super Bowl trips in the 90s.

Also, they should/would have been in the Super Bowl with Flutie if not for the Music City Miracle. That was a fine team.

10 years is a pretty rough run, but they had a couple years in there where they were expecting a good year and it fell apart. It hasn't been no hope year in and out like some clubs have faced.

Thats just not true. I was in the Dome in the 90s. No one was there.

Don't blame people though. The fanbase was beaten into submission by suckage.

Cowboys belong in that list OP

they are the only fans that can miss the playoffs every year then think they are Super Bowl contenders the next preseason

Browns.

Detroit, Jaguars and Texans are the only other franchises not to make a Super Bowl.

They suffered through 3 Superbowl wins, and appearance in the superbowl in the last decade.

They dont belong on the list, they just went through the Crazy Al Davis stage for a while.

Same could be said for the Redskins

Not positive but reasonably confident you are using lamented incorrectly

Eh. Lions fans have not been vocal or showing up well until this year.

Saints fans seemed to be pretty loyal (pre-Katrina days), despite their ineptness.

Vikings are not a suffering franchise historically. They are sixth in all-time win percentage. However, they have greatly underachieved in the playoffs and the Super Bowl relative to their regular season success.

It does, compared to teams like Miami, who haven't done shite since the mid 80s, but have great history. The Redskins fans are loyal, but it is easy when their season ticket holders have seen multiple SuperBowl teams.

But when you look at Detroit who has won one playoff game in since the 1957, and still show up & still kept their franchise.

The most important game in the last 50+ years for the Lions
