I am watching all the highlight for this superbowl, and I am thinking we are one defensive play away from it. That said I can't wait for next season. WHODAT?!!

Yes the entire state of LA is bitter about the Saints and the Tigers. Getting rid of Greg Williams was the start. Now if we could go ahead and fire Les Miles, it will come a full circle. Next year we'll win both championships. You can quote me on it.

Not really.
I mean, it'd be sweet if the Saints made it to the superbowl again, but there's a reason superbowl wins are so coveted. It ain't easy, and the breaks have to go your way. It was fun watching our boys go 13-3 and win a playoff game. They lost to the 49ers, but went down swinging.

I'm still bitter about that LSU game because there was no fight.

Yes. Damn Les Miles for going 13-0 during the regular season and leading a team basically without a quarterback. He should be fired for going undefeated in the regular season and getting our hopes up.

I am because I live 1/2 hour from Indy!! I never had any thoughts that the Saints wouldn't be here. Our LSU Alumni Chapter had all our plans made :-(

It's hard knowing the best team in the NFC didn't take care of it's biz

no interest in watching the game, Saints would have rolled both these teams, fricking sickening

Now we all know what the Superbowl feels like, we won't be satiated until another win. Welcome to the group of most of the other ball club fans.

I refuse to be the fan who is only satisfied with his beloved teams whenever they absolutely win it all.

Eh you're missing the point. Last season when we got knocked out I wasn't too pissed because I didn't believe that team was championship caliber.

This season by the end of the year I thought we were playing the best ball in the entire league. Then once you consider the road to the super bowl would have gone through the dome against a team we had already smacked around and just match up well against, I just feel as if it was a wasted opportunity. You don't get many chances like that in the NFL. It doesn't mean I'm spoiled.

Our defense wasn't what it needed to be.
Look, mistakes happen.
Only 1 in 32 teams can win.

Sure the San Francisco game could have been won.
But it was a bad match up on their field.

That was a wasted opportunity.
But to say the whole season was a waste?

The Giants did what the Saints couldn't. They went in to San Francisco and beat the 49ers. Props to them.

Now the Saints just need to take care of off season business, and get ready for next year's run.

Not really, we were playing good football but Alex smith and vernon Davis carved the saints up. It's hard for me to think we would have crushed the Pats with Brady, gronkowski, and Hernandez. Are we just not going to watch every superbowl the saints aren't in from now on?

<---------- this guy is.

You do not play man to man if you absolutely cannot afford to give up a big play at all.

That's what zone is for.

Yes, But I'm more bitter thinking about how we'd be partying all this weekend into late tonight in the Quarter, and back at Cafe Giovanni's in front of their big screen with their buffet and bar, and going crazy a la Porter, and filming it for YouTube...

just think what would have happened if we beat the rams and the bucs.... I cant believe we lost to them, those losses hurt more than the 49ers loss and probably what cost Brees MVP or co-MVP
