WE are stacked. The only areas I have a little concern about is WR(b/c we don't have that one big, tall receiver that we have had in the past) and LB(i am going to trust Chavis' coaching here).

Punter: Brad Wing
Kicker: Drew Alleman

Offense:

OL: Chris Faulk, Josh D., PJ Lonergan, Josh Williford, Alex Hurst
QB: Zach Mettenberger
WR: Russell Shepard, Odell Beckham, Jarvis Landry
TE: Chase Clement
RB: Kenny Hilliard
FB: JC Copeland

Defense:

DE: Barkevious Mingo, Sam Montgomery
DT: Bennie Logan, Anthony Johnson
LB: Kevin Minter, Lamin Barrow, Tahj Jones
S: Craig Loston, Eric Reid
CB: Tyrann Mathieu, Tharold Simon

Clement on a seam route down the middle of the field could be a great play for us this year if his hands improve a little.

I would replace Wiliford with La'el Collins. Got a feeling that he will blow up next year.

agree L. Collins should become our next great OL.

We will have to develop some quality depth in the defensive backfield.

I dont see TM7 being the #2 corner. You've gotta let him be the roving player he's been on defense.

This.

We can't put a game changer who makes plays all over the field and has a knack for getting into the backfield and disrupting a play, out on an island with his only responsibility being 1 WR.

Collins? I still do not think that our O- line was top flight. I like Faulk and Lonergan, but I feel that Collins should jump in for Williford or Hurst.

we have several young untested prospects that may step up.

we will have to become stronger and become better at executing blocks against good teams.

IMO the only way Collins starts is if Josh D isn't ready. I dont see him jumping Williford or Hurst. Espescially Hurst who is going to be a 3 year starter. Alot of playing time between those 2.

Don't see Josh D starting in front of Collins.
We have some good young linemen and Wiliford and Hurst will be pushed.

OL: Faulk, Williford, Lonergan, Hurst, Collins

LB: Loston, Minter, Barrow

S: Mathieu, Reid

CB: Simon, Eugene/Jenkins/Vinson/Collins

Chavis could use Mathieu the way he used Berry at Tennessee. When they play nickel, move Loston back to safety and Mathie to the slot.

they like Tahj at LB, he gives that whole safety-sized speed guy element. and I can't see Poppa moving to LB with no experience behind him and Reid at safety.

It won't happen, just who I think the most talented guys are. I liked Jones' play this year.

Mathieu wont start in front of Loston at safety..

He will be a corner just like he has been every year he's been at LSU
