I watched him play a couple of games his jr and sr years at LHS - he can catch the ball - I believe he would make a shutdown corner. He is a lot like TM7 except bigger and faster.

Not really. Many fans have high expectations for JL next season.

In fact I was a little disappointed at his production at WR last season. But I think this is attributable to OBJ emergence as freshman and our run heavy offense. However, he does do just aout everything well at the WR postion and he was a freak on special teams last year.

If people are sleeping on JL they did not pay attention last year.

Better throw the fricking ball or we'll never recruit a top WR again.

I'd say he's good for 20 catches in the Les Studthorpe offense.

Miles has given no indication of opening up the mimeographed 12 page playbook.

Rely on defense, specials teams and grind the opponent into dust.

Given all the #80 appreciation threads prior to the BCS, I don't think many people are sleeping. Can't wait to see him play more WR. Love the special teams brutality.

Sooo looking forward to Jarvis doing his thing. I think he will be our best WR in a while by the time he leaves.

Jarvis Landry

Great route running, great hands, great edge blocker, great intensity... he's short and a step slower than elite guys, but honestly, that's why he plays with such a chip on his shoulder. He and Beckham are going to be great for young guys to come in and learn under.

He has a ton of potential and should really get to show his stuff next year. Not a knock, but do you think ODBJr saw more time as a freshman bc of his role or did he just outperform Landry.

Either way those two are absolute studs.

Landry missed all of Fall camp with a bum foot.

He needs new initials, just seeing them brought back memories of bad threads. I think we should retire JJ and JL.

I was hoping he and Mett would have gotten to play more this year, we are really going to need both of them next season .
