And I know it isn't a novel complaint, but:

Why doesn't the microwave emitter make people asplode.

Come on Nolan, you are better than that. You already did the "hard" part in knowing that microwaves heat water preferentially.

TDK removed some of the fantasy elements in Begins. This entire "slum island" thing doesn't really fit in with the realism of TDK.

Why not? It's just like if one borough of NYC is the poor one.

I just literally finished watching TDK. This was the sixth time I've seen it.

Joker's plans were a little too perfectly orchestrated.

Watched it as well. Just noticed that the kid that Batman gives the gun thingy too + Katie Holmes took care of at the end during the Fracas = Joffrey from GoT.

The emitter turns molecules into an aerosol. Or something.

No one find it funny in the TDK that after the Joker has blown up half of Gotham that no one thinks to inspect the barges that carry away the denizens of Gotham to safety.

I love Batman but these movies, in their own way, are just as silly as other Batman movies.

You really caught a vibe that it was all planned out?

He is a guy who self proclaims himself as a agent of anarchy, and shows disdain for the "schemers."

Hell, even his own goals take a 180 on a whim.

Nah, he just knows how to roll with the punches. He doesn't plan from A to Z, he just meanders and shoots from the hip.

His "plans" are just intelligent foresight allowing him to keep his options open so he doesn't get backed into a corner.

He didn't plan on getting thrown into jail.....but he had contingencies in place to get him out and to further his brand of chaos.

Think Jack Sparrow and his "brillant" plans. It's similar to that. It isn't like he meticulously plots A to Z and the world falls into place. He just has the ability of being instantly adaptable that let's him wing it.

It seems like everytime it airs there is someone who "just" sees this.
