Any status change in recruiting for him? Has LSU offered? Has he committed anywhere? Is he SEC caliber?

Lsu has offered. Best player in state for 2013.

Too early to tell. Depends how LSU finishes this year, and possibly whether LSU signs Gathers and gets some momentum.
