that's some BS. Let the kid attend UGA. If his parents moved decades ago then who cares if they don't have the documentation. He doesn't look decades old to me. Poor kid.

Agree. Some of the laws or guidelines in this country don't allow for common sense.

I suspect this "situation" is a bit more complicated than published reports. One would think that the "Dawg Nation" would have legions of well placed lawyers and politicians who could have dispensed with this quickly and quietly if they could have...

I am pretty bummed by the whole situation. He is raw, but has enormous potential and really impressed the coaches at the summer camp which was why he was offered. I am pretty sure the football operations have been trying to figure out how to get by this as one of the quotes from the family spokesperson stated "the university did everything they could." It just all around sucks and further convinces me that the UGA OL really is cursed.

there are plenty of private colleges for undocumented people to pay to get an education
