Just finished episode 8 of Gurren Lagann... wow. I just... damn that's a ballsy move by the story writers...

The foreshadowing was so obvious but I tried to ignore it, at the very least I didn't think it would happen so soon. shite man, I feel almost as terrible as I did when I watched the last 5-6 episodes of Clannad: AS

My tears were so manly.

I'm in the process of watching Ano Natsu and Gurren Lagann right now Also, I still need to get around to watching Nichijou, just purely for this scene:

All three of these are great.

I think it's time for me to watch a crappier/less hyped anime because I feel like I've been whoring out 10/10s on MAL lately (after Gurren Lagann it's been 4 in the past 3-4 weeks)

Ano Natsu was really really good, and the ending was bittersweet. They pulled a Toradora level troll with it and I was getting anxious as time was winding down

That happened to me too. Watch Great Teacher Onizuka, Gurren, Code Geass, and Kara no Kyoukai all within a few weeks and ended up with half of my current tens.

Watch a lot of Genshiken last night. Watched the first two episodes a while back, but lost interest and never went back. The next few episodes were a lot more engaging.

I started Welcome to the NHK earlier this week and I was watching a bit of Medaka Box yesterday. NHK is pretty good and engaging, but I'm not sure what to think about Medaka Box yet. I feel like they're just setting up the plot for the second season, since I'm already on episode 9 and really not much has happened besides the student council growing. I feel bad for Zenkichi, he's stuck at the bottom of the totem poll, despite being the closest to Medaka. It's actually irritating me quite a bit to be honest.

I liked Sword art online from hulu.

Pretty cool concept behind the whole MMO virtual reality world.

You should look into Accel World. Same universe with some similar concepts.

Glad you all have seen Gurren Lagann. Probably the most influential and motivational show I have ever seen.

The Anti Spiral is one of the best villains in all of Anime IMO

Did anyone see the movies ?

Haven't seen the movies, but are they just essentially the two arcs in movie form?

Also, looks like Sasuke's still planning to gank Naruto, which is why he saved him (very much akin to Vegeta and Goku)

It doesn't exactly follow it. There are minor changes which made me enjoy more than the original series. If you watch it, you'll see what I'm talking about.

And Sasuke is so going to die, I hope. I really don't want that cliche ending for Naruto

It's classified as a retelling, so I wouldn't put it too high on the "watch list" unless you really want more Kamina back in your life (which is a good reason as any).

Yeah I posted on reddit a few months ago saying that there's no way that Sasuke survives till the end of the series and I got down voted into oblivion lol

It's a little too soon for me to go through that again
I was thinking about rewatching Toradora or getting around to finishing Railgun and starting Railgun S. I only watched Toradora for the first time a couple of months ago, but I've probably seen 60-70+ series of anime since then and I really want to watch it again for some reason. Although I'll probably finish Welcome to the NHK before that

wish I had seen this sooner, sorry about that.

I'd go with Eva 2.22, GitS, or Batman

I started some new shows finally. Silver Spoon, Watamote, and DxD NEW were all enjoyable.
