I feel like the "bad" second half is grossly exaggerated. I don't think the pacing was nearly as good, but it definitely tied into the overall plot well enough.

Well I can see how people would get pissed off by the second half of the series but frick them, it was amazing

ETA: and yes I did pull an all nighter marathoning it

I couldn't stop watching

I'm glad you liked it! It was one of my favorite and I couldn't wait to watch it each week.

But in other news, rumors are swirling on twitter that ufotable has acquired the rights to Fate/stay night and that it's gonna be a Heaven's Feel adaptation

This is fantastic news though. Everything ufotable touches is gold and the Fate/Stay universe is too good.

Finally catching up on Gargantia, and it's very good. While I guessed the plot twist shortly before it happened, I'm still hooked.
