Yea, saw all of that show too.

I used to get my mom to record it on VHS for me because it played before I got back from school.

Yeah, I thought so. I did pretty much the same thing.
I was just messing with you since you didn't mention it.

The most abstract anime I've ever seen is Paranoia Agent.
It's good if you love symbolism.

I'm not all that into anime, so I'm struggling to think of more.
Well, you probably saw Gundam Wing, too.

Have you seen some of the classics like the Lodoss War? Fist of the Northstar?

As far as Adult Swim stuff. I liked Wolf's Rain and Witchhunter Robin. Yuyu Hakusho is good too. Rurouni Kenshin.

No, I haven't seen them, but I will definitely look into them.

Damn, I've forgotten some of the ones I saw on Adult Swim years ago. Those two were great shows.

I haven't seen these. Thanks for the hookup.

I forgot to include another show I had seen, but Darker Than Black is a show I would recommend to anyone.

Damn. I should have made this thread a long time ago. It is bringing me back.

I think you mean s-CRY-ed, and it was badass. That was 8 years ago when it was on TV.

I'm gonna have to check that show out again.

Robotech and Macross? I grew up on those as a kid in North Alabama. I have no idea why the local tv stations showed Anime in the afternoons, but they did.

Kid meaning 1985.

Emeraldas and Harlock stuff is good. Looks for Queen Emeraldas and Captain Harlock. Those are really good. Two separate stories that intertwine.

You seen Death Note Scruffy? It's good stuff. And almost anything by Miyazaki as mentioned, since you didn't mention any of his stuff. Ninja Scroll is an old time favorite.

Also, I'm a fan of Eden of the East, which has a pretty cool premise.

Damn, all this talk of old school Adult Swim makes me want to smoke a blunt and watch Lupin the Third just like the good old days.
