with all the shite LSU has gone thru in the month of Jan. it sure would be nice to replace Brockers with Edwards. I mean youre a stud Def lineman who wants to play early. How do you not come to LSU? Brockers, Nevis, Dorsey....the list goes on. He could see a good amount of playing time for a team that has a good chance of winning it all next year. The stadium is the best in the country. The staff is about as good as it gets. I mean come on Mario... help stop the bleeding.

If your Dad was a star player for LSU, where do you think he would want you to go to school? He is all FSU, so try not to get your hopes up.

I'll be fine if January continues to suck as long as we can start February off with a bang.

Easy answer. I'd want my son/daughter to go where their gifts and talents can be most fully developed in order to leverage their value in the marketplace upon graduation.. Would I still be a huge LSU fan? Sure, but Mario Sr. is long gone from FSU, and LSU has an awful LOT to offer ME_Jr.

Depends on what kind if father you are... Times have changed and like Keil, he will likely regret "keeping it in the family".

I guess you didn't watch the Mich/ND game in Ann Arbor this fall? those people made LSU fans and TS "look like romper room." factor in a fanbase that will (in a heartbeat) turn on you both in the stands and on the internet and you might begin to understand why some prospects and their parents don't see LSU, in the same light, as many LSU fans see themselves.

Are you seriously comparing Mich/ND to SEC atmosphere? Maybe occassionally they do it right.....but not even close.

Bad fans everywhere.......don't think it's just LSU my friend.

I think I peed a little when I read this. ND/Mich at night for the first time in a national televised game and they still didn't even come close to the volume and intensity of LSU during the day. There isn't a single stadium in the country that compares to Tiger Stadium at night. That said, I don't expect many night games next year, becasue we will be playing in primetime again since we will probably be preseason #1 or #2.

Mich/ND.....

I will always take Tiger Stadium at night in a big game(2007 UF) but that Mich/ND game was crazy atmosphere wise. It's not a criticism of the SEC atmospheres to think so. There are a ton of great atmospheres every week in college football. That's why there is no sport like college football in America. Imo the best sport in the country because of the atmospheres.

I think Edwards could play anywhere early but just looking at the 2 finalists, our depth chart is friendlier. FSU is loaded on the DL. Maybe the best all around group in the country on paper. Edwards is good enough to play next year there but I think the road is easier at LSU. The problem is that he isn't picking a school based purely on the depth chart. There are other factors that point to FSU and I don't mean his dad being an alum.
