I watched game..Lee did well glad to see it.. But the JL lovers an d haters are still ridiculous.. The lovers are acting like Lee is a star and the haters say he sucks.. he is average and looked good in a senior game... But reality is he should have gotten a chance yes but thats not bama's D nor do they game plan much for those games... not much blitzing in that game... This game was mainly an oportunity for seniors to play one last game... Most will never be in NFL a few will hopefully Jlee will be one but lets not make this something it isn't...

Hope he does well in what ever other game he is in..

You do know the Saints (just that one team) has 19 players who never got drafted on their current roster, right? Just because you have never seen those guys before, does not equate in them being poor athletes

They were 1 week into a new system. That was the huge difference

Exactly my thoughts

If JJ played against this defense, he still looks and plays like JJ.

In THE game you try everything in your arsenal. Look at that video and see how often Lee had to release quickly, 3 step drops, etc. Putting him in the NCG would definitely have thrown a wrinkle at Bama. All we had to do was hit a pass or two, the crowd wakes up, the O line starts to feel an adrenalin surge, the Bama defense gets a tiny question or two in the back of their minds and hesitates a split second--momentum shifts. Les disregarded this possibility, and

very true

We'll see. Hope for the best

I found that video utterly, utterly, depressing.... for anybody except Jarrett Lee. Congratulations, Jarrett. Did Miles take some hits in those highlights or what?

Not quite the Alabama defense out there, but I agree Miles should've given the kid a chance. Stubborn jackass.
How were the defenses being run? Don't they not allow blitzing, stunting, etc., most of the time in all star games? I saw the first few minutes but flipped over to basketball after that.

Some good throws. Two TDs, there were some big schools' players, too. Saw a UT, Michigan, among others. JL was decisive and confident.

Watched the game and Lee displayed the type of skills we saw in comeback victories like Auburn, Troy, Florida and Tennessee in his first three seasons. (No comeback wins led by Lee this year since he helped the Tigers blast their first eight opponents and then fell off the radar). Even most of the throws he missed on were downfield and off by inches. Easily the best offensive player performance in the game.

We kept THAT on the sideline during the Bama game? Lee threw for about 170 and 2 TDs in the All-star game. If we could've gotten half of those numbers out of Lee vs Bama in the BCSCG (80 yards passing, 1 TD) the course of the game changes greatly.

hence why the JJ/Miles apologists are here disparaging his performance.

because they're "true fans"

Seems to be the same ones urging anyone criticizing JJ's performance to get behind all our players. And "I support anyone that plays in the Purple and Gold". Bull fricking crap.
