As bad as I feel about this loss....I am good with it compared to last

Last year's doesn't touch this years IMO. After all the adversity we faced and to over come it... have it in our hands and for Williams to pull this? Their only offensive weapon was being covered by 1 guy.
Seattle we sucked & deserved to lose. They were a shitty team & we over looked them.

You are way too harsh on the team.
I am disappointed as well, but this team had a 13-3 season and won a playoff game. This is something to be proud of. This is the NFL, not high school. Getting to the playoffs 3 years in a row is something to be proud of, much less winning a superbowl and being 5-3 in the playoffs. I hate when fans are completely unappreciative of what we have now.

I only point out his post due to the fact that most times guys or girls like this spout off a bunch of nonsense.
Fact is yes we turned the ball over but we played against a very good team who also won 13 games this year, has one of the best defenses & had turnovers all year.
Do I think we have the better overall team, absolutely but the Niners made one more play than us.
Look at other teams in the playoffs this year, Packers, Pats, Saints & Giants ALL are on the bottom of the list when it comes to defenses.

Also I have been on here since 2007 and only have 1800 post...you think, know the facts before you go nuts and type.

Mediocrity is not what the Saints have produced the past few years.
The problem is your definition of mediocrity is anything less than winning a superbowl. In other words, your expectations for the NFL are a bit too high. I wish the Saints could win every year, but to be in contention for it and make it to the playoffs every year is something to be proud of.

yeah, my standards are high.... i'm not going to apologize for that, just like you don't have to apologize for NOT having as high a standard....
anything other than a Super Bowl win is TOTAL failure in my book.... and the same for LSU.... if they don't win a National Championship, it's a failure.....
now, of course, had either of the two never won championships in the recent past, then my expectations would not be where they are at, but both of them are not that far removed from that level of competition....
either way, both of them failed, and the pat on the back and "good job" type of seasons they had are no consolation prize for me..... sorry, but i expect more, because they have shown more....
