Mett has three to play two correct? I read on here the other day his redshirt was burned because of his play in the NSU and UM games. Which if true makes no sense because those were each blowouts.

Does this mean Mett has only one year of eligibility left??

Sorry if already posted, couldn't find anything to dispel what I read a few days ago.

He'll be considered a redshirt junior for the '12 season. Does that help?

So this means LSU has him for one year, possibly two, depending on his decision to enter the draft after next year.

Wonderful

He redshirted at Georgia then played one at the junior college then one season here so far. He has 2 years left to play.

I bet you want to blame Miles for this.

Not necessarily, maybe the situation LSU was placed in as a result of RP's release in 2008.

He can play 2012 and 2013. He had 1 year at a JUCO in 2010, his 2nd year (2011) this year just completed where he was eligible and played sparingly, and the next 2 years. He did indeed redshirt at UGA before transferring to the JUCO.

Awesome! After the last 4 years you are worried about a QB playing well enough to enter the draft early.

If Mett does play that well the chances we don't get a title is minuscule. I'll take that.

Let me blunt here. I can only dream that Mett has such a good year in 2012 that he decides to go pro.

I mean hell, there are A LOT WORSE things that could happen to LSU than having QB play so good we lose the guy to the NFL.

Ya know......like the last 4 years!!!!
