Miles quit first. The players and fans are just following their Coach.

Fans don't follow the coach jack off. Have you read these boards ever? You have your own mind, form your own opinions but that is a cop out to say that 'Miles quit first, so it is ok for me to quit on LSU too."

I believe its three national titles to one......

And who paid Saban's paycheck for that first one? LSU did.

Who paid for the facilities he asked us to build. Uh-huh. That's right we did. Not Nick.

That 2003 title is OURS, not Bama's. I wish they'd quit claiming it. By the way, Saban won the 2009 title with Mike Shula's recruits, so I guess that one shouldn't count for Saban. (2007--Miles's third year at LSU; 2009--Saban's third year at Bama)

And our coach didn't have to go on TV while two OTHER schools were playing for the SEC championship to beg for a spot in the NCG using our success and his team's loss to us as the only rationale for being in the game. I love how Bama repeatedly uses our success this century as an argument to bolster their own.

That being said, a ridiculous post from the OP. Nick Saban has had nothing to do with LSU since 2005. I didn't see our team quit in 2007 or in 2010 or on 11/5/11.

Miles called some quitter plays

well, he definitely should not have allowed JJ to check out of passes into runs down by multiple scores in the second half. It was also obvious JJ was not going to get it done.we should have been in the 2 minute with somebody, Lee or Mett who can chuck it downfield. You think any pro coach would have been letting his QB eat 30 seconds off the clock every play and check down into runs in that situation and not be in a 2 minute O? A blind monkey could see what needed to be done win or lose. The fact is we did not even try and it is disgusting and appalling.

Miles started the wrong QB to finish the season

Point blank, that's the issue that divided the team.

It happened...we learn from it and move on

Nick Saban didn't do anything but recieve a gift from LSU...

Our fans are weak...Glad our coach isn't

Any good coach would have done the same thing Miles did. Continue running the ball to stay balanced.

At what point since Jefferson returned did this offense try to stay balanced? 80% run is not balanced. Run, run, pass on 3rd and 13 is not balanced.

I have not heard one coach, former coach, former nfl player, commentator, sorority girl, anyone who has said they would've done the same thing Miles did.

i was fine with using JJ in certain red zone packages and such or when we needed to spark the run game. Last i checked lee was doing ok the first 8 games using his PA passing off of the run game. why change that? relieve him when he needed relief which was in the bama game on 11-5. Lee still would have beaten arky and UGA.

bingo. see my post above about what a pro coach would have done or probably any other college coach who could see he was sinking in quicksand.

Les Miles said that he didn't play Lee because Lee would have gotten injured.

3 to 1

Miles was lucky he got the 1st trophy and it will be the only one he will ever see. Stupid SOB could not even take out Arkansas in our stadium when he had to win. And let's not talk about the loss to the outstanding KY team.

And guess what, Saban is not finished ...
