The game "plan", in game decisions, ill-timed time out, no adjustments. He was over matched as was the entire team. Outside of the blocked punt, the team made NO plays. The offense was especially futile, yet he stuck with it with a stubborn tenacity, as if he had concluded there were no other choices. It was/is weird.

I wonder what goes thru his mind in times like last night. Utterly befuddled while Satan skates circles around him. How, on God's green earth, did LSU win that first game in Tuscaloosa.

And no, I do not view this team as the SEC Champs. Anyone who takes solace in that is delusional.

People forget about the previous 6 seasons of gabs, this too will be forgotten by the spring game and he'll have once again lured people into thinking he knows what he is doing

It was a different team last night...it looks like they wanted to lose.

I am off the LM band wagon. He is too inconsistent.

I dont think cause you have one bad gameall season that it will define CM. Yeah granted it was the biggest game of the year but this team accomplished more than anyone ever expected. Ifi do recall Saban was out coached the last time these two teams matched up. So i think CM will be just fine and will come back with a strong team next year and we will be in the conversation for the BCS again.

This will take a long time. All of the good will and confidence that Les built up over the course of this year he just pissed away. It's okay to lose, but to lose the way we did - no adjustments at half-time or in the 4th quarter, no personnel or package changes, no vertical passing - is just ignorant.

Did this coaching staff even bother to watch game film from the Bama/Ga Southern game...?

Miles won't live this down. LSU will forgive him, but, the football world will consider this to be the real Les Miles coaching performance.

Miles is back to being an idiot, in the eyes of the football world.

LSU: you don't have to worry about anybody stealing your head coach from you.

I hope this is his nadir, because I can't anticipate any loss hurting as bad as this one.

The "Dance with what brung us here" strategy does not work when facing a Saban-coached team. The LSU coaching was mediocre. I saw NO inovation, NO trick plays, NO creativity, NO attempt to break the mediocrity, and NO real LSU quarterback in the game. JJ seemed anesthetized most of the time. The sportscasters said that Bama had prepared for JJ. Seems like they should have inserted JL into the game so we could of at least seen if he could get something going. LM also took things for granted--you can't do that in the SEC and win.

Never know he may not be in this position again to screw up the BCS championship game. I hope we get back but this really hurts,

That's one bright side. We all learned a lesson.

This isn't one bad game. The fact that LM has had a horseshoe up his rear and let it fall out sometime in the past month is the real story. I'm not saying he is a BAD coach, but he isn't a top tier one either. He is too stubborn for his own and his team's good.
When a game plan is obviously not working, and you are playing your last game of the year, WTF does it hurt to try something different? YOU CAN'T DO ANY WORSE THAN THEY DID THROUGH THE FIRST THREE QUARTERS. Try anything.

He will never be considered anything but an elite recruiter again. Chavis will get credit for the defense, the offense still isn't there. This game was as bad as the Ole Miss debacle, and will create a cap in which Miles can never bust out of again. I am not "off the bandwagon" but my perspective was reset, for sure.

Then shame on you! I am as upset as anyone about that excuse for a gameplan les had last night, but that doesn't take away from the greatest season ever! And, yes, we are SEC Champions! Whether you like it or not!
