a new wrinkle or two and JJ.

Just like I called it
quote:

Studrawa says the Tigers' full range of option plays weren't installed when LSU and Alabama met Nov. 5 in Tuscaloosa, because the offense was still transitioning from Lee to Jefferson.

"The total package of what we do with Jordan wasn't in," he said. "It is in now."

Um..if anything it seems to be the opposite

He had 11 carries on the option in that game

So if there is going to be some new wrinkle then it would probably be less option if anything.

QB draw!s and rollouts with 1 or 2 man routes (with run option)

We'll see these a lot tonight.

If JJ plays well, we can't lose. And wouldn't it be great if JJ (after all the crap he's been through) could wrap up his career as the MVP in the title game. That would be nice.

We will probably see more zone read, which is an option play up the middle when the outside LB covers the RB (in a 3-4 defense) instead of the QB. Also, we will likely see more roll outs giving JJ a run/pass option. There are more option plays than the traditional speed/sweep option.

I doubt Stud said anything about a diet.

Say what you want about JJ, but he plays well in bowl games that are played indoors.

if the option is now fully in, probably we've seen it all along the way since 11/5. Bama has that tape.

Doesn't matter, though. The offense is pretty diverse and the playcalling is not necessarily predictable like it has been in prior years.

It's going to be another great game.

If option is really a big part of your offensive gameplan, Bama will throttle you. I expect a couple of options, but really look for a reverse or JJ to look for a big play downfield off the option

If they double cover Randle like they did for the majority last game I expect them get the ball to Beckham more.

That's how we beat Bama last time

Not sure why you think that we can't do it again with more preparation.

I was actually thinking that. They'll eventually run the PA pass out of an option look and I wouldn't be surprised to see either a reverse or a fake reverse out of the option.

Ahh my friend you are too shortsighted. There are several things we have NOT done out of the option like fake the dive, thenstop and throw a pass a la Perrilloux...run a reverse or a jet sweep with Shepard, or a halfback pass from Ware or Shepard.

Look for a new wrinkle tonight, he just told you they were going to do it.

But the new wrinkle isn't "the option" because by definition it wouldn't be new.

a.
b. You think we should run the Super-Tecmo double fake reverse statue of liberty, eh?
c. You're one of those guys who constantly asks "Why do they keep running right into the middle of the line? Why don't they run outside - nobody's out there..." aren't you?

The biggest wrinkle to the option was used in the Ole Miss and Arky games with success. JJ throws in stride while running the speed option. Game changer!

It does take a while to learn to run the short side option correctly. Oh, yeah, baby-- it's back! I kid, I kid.
