With a "neutral" officiating crew, I do honestly expect at least 2 holding calls on Bama's oline. This is big because they are not use to this type of sctrutiny and that will lead to a slight tentativeness that will aid our dlines pass rush.

Hey, I know I sound like I am wearing a tin foil hat, but I really think this is a wrinkle that will help the Tigers.

Without the ability to hold regularly, Jones is screwed.

Sam owns him some B. Jones.

Been saying this. You don't go an entire season without a holding call. There is holding on every single play.

Big 12 crew...therefore, holding does not exist...however, every tackle will be a personal foul.

If they call holding, Bama is screwed, then they will start late hits, facemasks, etc.. if the crew is on their game and catch them. they are going to have a breakdown. I can easily see a flag for throwing a helmet, and a few for unsportsman conduct. too bad theres no flag for being a pussy... then again the field would look like a daisy farm then...

I stood on the field on 11/5/11, and their Oline holds Montgomery and Mingo on almost EVERY PLAY that the two were in!!!! Mingo gets more holds than Montgomery, but both get held a lot.

The LSU oline holds, but not nearly as blatantly as Bama.

I think the refs almost show mercy on the OT who lines up across from Mingo, and I'm serious about that. Mingo gets off so fast that the OT just holds every play, and it just becomes a "fair" block throughout the course of the game.

they favor offense, so don't expect too many holding calls on pass plays

they're not used to running, so i have no idea how they call it

they will call personal fouls on pass defenders like the water flows downstream

Maybe we'll finally get some decent officiating in an SEC game.

Just another excuse for BAMA if they loose. Oklahoma State is in the Big 12, BAMA's excuses will be that they were against them for being in the game and not Oklahoma State

Their excuses wont matter, we will have beaten them once at their house and again in the title game..

If true than it obviously favors bama's Oline

Agree Charles, but I think it will be even more. I think they get 3 or 4 O-line holding calls & 2 or 3 late hit/personal foul calls and then Saban will reign that BS in.

Can someone please confirm that the officials won't be the same crew as the last game who let Bama get away with several late hits?
