Anyone know why we don't do more quick release dump off passes, especially against defenses that get to the QB quickly? ...and I'm Not talking about the horizontal pass to the outside?

I thought we'd see it a lot in the first Bama game, since Bama doesn't give QBs much time back there.

Is it something JJ has troule with?

Maybe because we do actually throw short passes

Usually short passes rely a lot on timing, and JJ has never been really good at timing routes. He is a damn good passer if all he has to do is throw to an open reciever or throw a deep ball.

More JLee's game than JJ....not saying JL is best QB in the World but its just not JJ's strong suit.

Oh pull-eaze. He throws the ball kinda, sorta where he thinks the receiver might be. Totally void of precision and projects the responsibility of completing the pass on to the receiver.

There will definitely be more risk taken in this game. May require lee throwing the short timing routes and let the playmakers do their thing.

JJ is capable with prep time, so I would look for this early in the game. Short throws over the middle on 1st and 2cnd downs. LSU will have to pass to setup the run. The OL and RB must be prepped for blitz recognition and QB must read it and dump off the pass for LSU to roll the tide into the Mississippi River.

You can stop right there. One of our QB's is consumed with avoiding contact rather than keeping his head in the game.

Yeah that's what I'm hoping...that he will be able to do some of this because they have had a month to work on it and prepare. He really just needs to do enough of it to keep Bama's D wondering.

Quick slants could be dangerous because of dropping lbs in the zone. Quick hitches and outs? Don't have a clue why we don't do it.

Hey, there. Interesting fact. We play in the national title game in 2 days, yet all you seem to be able to do is bash one of our players. Congrats on being a complete douche bag!!!
