his team got beat by 26 what did you expect? Alleman missed a chip shot 30 yd FG or it would have been worse.

It was already 63-20 with 9 minutes left in the 3rd quarter! It was kind of selfish of him to run it up on that last touchdown, though. But seriously, where was Clemson all night??!

The only "running it up" that irked me at the time was the spurrier- UF style, when they would run double reverse trick plays against the Citadel (or a 1AA opponent) up by 40 with 3 minutes left. But these days, it doesn't bother me at all if a team keeps scoring, especially in a bowl game. Stop them if you don't want them to score. Plus added bonus is their butthurt fans take to message boards which is amusing to me.

The only one that bothered me was in JV when the other team faked a knee on the last play and threw a long bomb for a TD.

West Virginia only scored 7 in the final 24 minutes compared to the 63 in the first 36 minutes. I don't they could be accused of running it up. They probably could have scored 90+ if they wanted to.

Dana Holgerson's certainly a scrotum, but I have no issues with running up the score. It's just ball plays. These were two Top 20 BCS Bowl teams...not some game with 12 and under kids. If Clemson's D didn't like getting scored on, they might have actually tried to stop WVU once or twice.
