Is there any possibility of Jerrard Randall moving to the other side of the ball?

Given his height, speed and footwork, it seems like he could make one hell of a CB.

Just wondering...

I can't wait to see him on the field regardlessof which position he plays.

I hope Randall still stays. He seems like he has great potential.

Also, I will bet you that Randall gets to run the option a good bit next year. The kid is very talented and Miles likes that facet he brings to the game. He should be productive for us next year

Watch Randalls videos...the guy is a very good QB....not as polished as Kiel and not as prototypical height but his tape is very very impressive. Im excited about the near future with Mett and the slightly distant with all 3 of randall rivers and kiel....1 guy will probably transfer but 2 will stay and its going to be a very very stiff competition for that spot once mett is gone...its good though because it will make them all better and they are 1 play away from going in

J Randall needs to play QB, he's better than JJ, really. He's like Denard ? on Michigan, or RB3. He can play a few running series next year, a change of pace, or in the red zone for a few yards running. He could play flanker better than RS, but only if he really wanted to, to play a lot, he could do both if he was smart and asked for it. He's good, according to my son, who knows, who was a grayshirt lineman.

Most people on this board think we should only have 2 QBs on the team.

Given that Miles has an affinity for running QBs I would think LSU will eventually use him like JJ. I could see Randall getting significant playing time as early as next year. Don't laugh at my prediction our present QB passed for 23 yards (plus no first downs in the 1st half) in the SEC Championship while Mettenberger and Lee rode the bench. Miles doesn't put a premium on passing QBs. Mettenberger must be awful if he can't play better than JJ. My guess is it will eventually come down to Kiel and Randall soon. They run the best of the QBs for the near future.

Why we need to keep him at QB, also. In high school, our good QB tore up his knee in August practice. The 2nd string QB was good enough almost, but, got a girl pregnant and got kicked off the team or quit, SO, a tight end that made all A's was moved to QB Monday before the 1st game. He played 3 games and broke his leg above the ankle, out. Guess who that was. Then the back up tight end moved to QB and did poorly. We need all the QB's.

Nothing will ever top Trindon Holliday to defensive end.

Personally I liked the "Wild Wing" formation thread.

HS QB at a poorly resourses HS is a different situation. A lot of high schools just put their best athlete at QB, doesnt mean that QB to corner is a natural transition for everybody

JR has an awesome arm and hell get some Ryan Perrilioux type reps next year and battle for the starting job after Mett leaves.

Randall has better or equal arm compared to Keil, is more mobile than Keil, and has been at LSU longer than Keil. I don't understand why people aren't wondering if Keil will transfer. Everyone just doubts Randall's QB play and thinks postion change simply because he is black

How would Kiel transfer from a place he hasnt signed to yet? Think before you post.
