What is the practice schedule and where in NOLA? Would like to take my son to check it out, I am GBFTL alumnus from '97. Thanks

I am sure we crossed paths, as I was also a trumpet from '93 - '97

Baritones FTMFW

for the last 2 titles and ND sugar bowl all practices were in the dome and closed to the public unless you can talk Roy into letting you in with the band

OK Thanks Elleshoe, I thought I remembered them practicing a few years ago at East Jefferson stadium (Joe Yenni stadium), so wasn't sure

They did practice at EJ a while back, but I'm not sure when that was. I live close enough to hear them loud and clear.

Hey all GBFTL'ers...

Is Tiger Stadium louder or the Superdome for Pre-game, etc. ?

I was in TGBFTL for the '07-'08 'SHIP, and when we turned into the 4th corner for pregame to face the LSU crowd, it was the loudest sound I had ever heard.

Current member here.

We have two practices in the IFF on the 6th and 7th in BR. Not sure if those are open to the public or not.

In NOLA, we have a rehearsal at Tad Gormley stadium in the morning. No specific time on that yet.

Then every other practice is in the superdome, which I'm assuming is closed.

same as SECCG and Arkansas game. band marches to "Get Ready" and GGs dance to "I Want you Back"

ETA: hopefully something awesome like "DR. PEPPER IS SERIOUSLY THE GREATEST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO ME" will happen again, but no promises here.

Y'all should reenact that as part of the halftime show.

I'd have to agree. Tiger Stadium is loud, but I've never heard anything quite like the crowd for that '07 championship pregame
