Seems like they are almost identical players while at LSU. RR is a bigger down field threat while BF is more likely to break a tackle. BF was projected as a late 1st round but Carolina got a steal in the 3rd. RR imo is also a late 1st round talent that might fall into the 3rd round if he leaves early.

Actually Lafell was nothing but a deep threat early in his college career. I find the comparison horrible.

You have this completely backwards IMO. RR is a beast and very agile in small spaces, he's way more likely to break tackles. BLF is slightly faster and a big strider who is a deep threat.

Randle is way faster and more of a deep threat than Lafell ever was.

B.Lafell isn't a better route runner than R.Randle Lafell was kind of stiff and not as fluid as R.Randle...Randle is faster and a just a better receiver

Sorry, RR is a muich better receiver than lafell was and he projects better into the NFL then lafell did. I can recall randle dropping a couple of passes this season, and I recall Lafell dropping 5 times as many. But Im not using dropped passes as a metric for comparing the 2 of them. RR is just a better receiver in every aspect, period.

Edit: lafell also had much better QB play than RR (early in his career atleast) with flynn
