He has the size and talent for the NFL. With our current stockpile of Pro-Style QB's, we need to find a few more AA candidates to catch some passes. Question is...does Bourque have the hands to be an impact WR?

I'm sure he is. The Christmas holidays were always good to me when I was his age!

Back to football...he looks like a great WR prospect!

Not sure if serious, but he was alluding to the fact he may be lookin around at other schools...no facts, purely.

this thread is just going to give Bourque ammo to go elsewhere.

Yes...I believe that I read that in a previous post or 2. My point is that...if he is all that as a RB then great...get in the rotation. If he wants more options in the NFL, he should be working on routes and hands. Seems like the prototypical NFL/WR is about 6'3" or larger these days. Thats all...

Yeah , I think most want him, and are actually speaking the truth. I think thats where LSU saw him, before they had to sell the RB-line.

Jeremy Hill is a better RB than he is. If he and his whiny daddy Kirk can't handle it then go play at Nebraska and finish 7-5 every year.

Josh Reed and Devery Henderson weren't too high and mighty for a move to WR and that worked out OK.

If he should ever read this thread, he would see that I definately want him in P&G and he has multuple options at LSU...including BCS Championships! at you thinking that we would have any real impact on a recruits decision. Nothin but respect here.

Huge issue. Along with better talent in the class at the position he's adamant about staying at.

His dad will get Clean to write another article stating RB is his best position, he isn't afraid of competition, but he has to look around and see what's best for him from a competition standpoint.

He needs to do a little research on which positions are increasing in NFL value, and which are decreasing. Also, which have more longevity.

It's WR by mile.

That's probably the conversation that Miles wants to have with him, after he's already reported this summer. But not now.

With his size & skills (assuming he can has any kind of hands), he would be a "Julio Jones" type of receiver.

But, he would also be a freaking terror running the football IMHO.

I'm OK with either one

Isn't Bourque a different type of RB than Hill? How can you say who is better before they have played a down in an SEC game. Rivals had JH rated as the #2 "downhill runner" just ahead of KH last year. We seem to have an unfair advantage when it comes to power RB's. The best part is that the NFL likes them even more when they haven't been abused (300+ att/yr) in college. In the long run, our multiple back system works better for them...and us.

Tiger fans....you need to forget about this kid. Not eligible his senior year, played at Gueydan as a very old 8th grader. Word is still a problem at Crowley High and in trouble with the law. This kid will never wear purple and gold. Move on! As a Gueydan Fan I know a little about what I am saying...not hating on the kid but know what is reality.

What position does his GF want him to play?

She wasn't the one that got "Running Back" tattooed tramp-stamp style was she?
