How do we match up. I see they are ranked and are No. 29 in Real Time RPI.

A great opportunity for the Tigers to strengthen their RPI heading into conference play.

The SEC's RPI is slightly better this year than last year, but still not great, so not sure what kind of record LSU will need to get NCAA consideration.

My take looking at the schedule is about 8-8 in the SEC and that, even with a victory over UVA would not be enough.

Watched them beat Michigan which looks like their only big game so far. They have an above average post guy, but the Tigers will match up well. Tigers by 8 points.

They just had two subs transfer out this week. Shouldn't have too much effect, but will hurt depth.

Johnson tweeted he was cleared to practice. I imagine he'll sit vs Grambling & play vs UVA

Great to hear. I think Isaac really gives us a boost defensively, but if teams go zone like UC Irvine and UNT did, Stringer...as an off guard, has definitely been our most consistent outside threat, and has even developed a decent shot fake and drive set.

Gives us some flexibility.

He was our leading scorer before being injured. He's definitely improved from his freshman year.

Without question. He just doesn't handle the ball well enough to be a point guard, but the kid can shoot if he's open.

In addition to adding the shot and ball fakes to his game he's added the bounce pass. He all too often tried to lob pass last year and for someone of his size that was not a good thing.

Now I did hear Trent say he was one of our two best on ball defenders, which I respectfully disagree with but he has improved which is what you like to see with our players and I think had been lacking in Trent's first three years.

In fact I think he, Bass, Eddie, and yes even White have shown signs of development of parts of their game.

Now if we can just get Turner there. Great to see his game against Marquette, but if he could do that more consistently and develop his skills, I really think he has a pretty high cieling.

shite man White is the best athlete on our team. Too bad he's just not that good at basketball in all seriousness, when he plays with control, he's a great player to bring energy off the bench.

If Malcolm ever shoots from more than 5 ft. I cringe.

he rains swag when he makes that fadeaway jumper on the baseline.

I would rather Malcolm take 3's than bass. JK

And he ain't scared to shoot. Never understood why a guy with that body insists on shooting mostly 12-15 foot fade-aways.

He's at least now playing with some useful energy. Last year he used most of his energy fouling. He's contributed this year and glad he's shown some progress.
