Brother in law is getting married. I need to plan the bachelor party. He mentioned an overnight tuna fish as a possibility. Is this a good idea. Is it possible to take up to 10 people (probably will be less)? Any suggestions or recommendations? Things to know and be prepared for? The trip will be in mid to late feb. TIA

Probably a tough time of year. Call capt. Ryan at reel addiction charters. Will be difficult to find a tuna charter to accommodate that many guys

There was a gut out of Empire that ran a 65 foot boaty. Some friends of mine chartered him. They called it the "Tuna Slave Boat".

Great time of year to go if you can time it right between fronts.
Wednesday and thursday were slick out here and Tuna are still up close

Most charters are only for 6 however.

Unless you get a big boat. But those aren't as fun.

Unless its like a sport fisher.

They are legit. For a party.

Steel hulls aren't as much fun in my opinion

Dude?

That's code for RED SNAPPER!

I'd suggest Costa Rica, Vegas, Bangkok, or Amsterdam. Not necessarily in that order.

Your chance of catching weather window in february for an overnighter is slim at best. In venice (feb) they will be trolling for wahoo and chumming for tuna within 25 to 30 miles of the passes. I would recommend Eddie Burger in Venice. He is one of the best captains down there. Good luck
