Chicago Fire will be coming down to play at Tad Gormley in New Orleans. They will play Real Espana from Honduras. Tickets are $25 bucks, and the match will be held February 4th.

This summer there were two professional games in which teams from Honduras came down and Club America to play in New Orleans. Is this a sign of interest for a professional team? I believe there were around 6 or 7k at the last game and it was raining.

Put an aging Wilson Pa;cios and one more Honduran with a decent stadium and NOLA FC would have 15k at every match.

I don't think whoever would invest in a New Orleans team could afford Palacios. He is currently listed around 10m in the transfer market, plus wages.

Yes there should be a couple Hondurans on the team. Costly would be a good buy, at around 1m. He seemed to do a decent job for Houston this season. He would probably dominate the NASL league. Still at 1m would be a very expensive buy for a NASL or USL Pro owner. If you add another impact Honduran in the squadand a good 'Merican GK the team could be pretty competitive. It would also boost the local media for soccer and future MLS investment if support is good enough. Perhaps the club could form a partnership with Chicago Fire, and dip their resources into the Chicago Fire youth club in New Orleans, which will promote the club and grow soccer in Louisiana.

Every time there's a pro game here, the weather does not cooperate. Blizzard coming to town on February 4th.

My first cousin's husband has talked to me about an MLS team in NOLA. He is intrigued with loading a team up with Hondurans. And he is richer than Chouest by atleast two times.
