Louisiana fishing charters

Me and a bunch of buddies are trying to take a fishing trip. Im trying to get a good deal. Who is the best people to go through for deep sea charters? Good experienced people who give a good time. Help me out

Until the spill we would use Tommy Pelegrin out of Cocodrie. I think he is listed as customcharters.com or something.

Didn't change, just quit going. I'm a Tommy fan for sure.
His fuel cost has dropped since he lost the diesels.

Last question (not trying to bash you) why did you quit going? Was it because of the spill or other reasons?
I was just curious. The gulf is as good or better than ever and the seafood is safe. Now would be the most important time to support guys like Tommy

I agree, a lot of us are hurting to a point. If I decide to go in the future w/o a ride, Tommy would be my guy.
The real reason is I'm seriously into throwing all my money into specks. We wave to him as he goes by.

Took a trip with customcharters (wasn't tommy, I think Tim?). We were going with another person and he literally canceled the night before so we called around. And customcharters took us (w/o a deck hand because such short notice). He gave everyone one of us a tuna on the line (6 people) and tons of cobia. Great time. This was in August.

Eric and tommy are good people, and they can put you on some fish. The only problem is the gas bill will be higher out of cocodrie than it would out of fourchon or venice.

We're there already, I'd use 'em in a heartbeat if we decide to go and don't have a ride.
