I wish him the best. I do think he has the ability to be a solid head coach eventually, but he does need to learn and get some experience before he's ready to take over a major program full time.

Yes, but he wasn't ready for the big time, yet. I think he could be, eventually, but he needs to go to a smaller program and learn on the job, IMO.

This might be a good opportunity for him, and I don't think last year was all his fault (NCAA, Joe Bauserman 
, Jim Bollman, etc.) so it'll be interesting to see him go to a slightly lesser program and develop it for a few years and possibly go back a major BCS program.

He would be a superb choice for them. I wish him nothing but the best. You know he will assemble a really good staff.

What is the current situation at Pitt? Did I hear most of their staff is going to ASU with Graham? Who is coaching them in the bowl game?
