I've seen this movie 20 times or so over the years. As a kid watching this, it didn't matter what the plot was. As an adult watching it, this movie is strange.
So this kid goes on a time traveling adventure with midgets. Then comes back home to a burned down house and his parents are dead? Is that the plot? Is there a point to it all?

Greatest children's movie of all time?
Possibly.

Time Bandits, Brazil, and Baron Munchausen are all a trilogy of sorts. Themes dealing with childhood, adult, and old age. All good flicks imo.

Damn, this thread made me watch Baron Munchausen.
Baron Munchausen
"I have no time for flatulence and orgasms. I hate that face you make me make!"
Great line.
