Is it just me or does this one mean SO much more to you? In 03 I was just happy to see LSU there. Sure I wanted a win, but I was just happy watching them in the big game. 07 was such a roller coaster with so much anger, surprise, happiness, and good luck that I didnt know what to think at some times.

This year I want it bad though. It's a perfect ending to a perfect season. It's against another sec team. It's against our biggest
rival for the past few years. It's against a team we already beat...yet are still totally disrespected by. If we win this game victory will have never tasted sweeter IMO.

I will say this, they have all been VERY different from one another...and I wouldn't change a thing about any of them

Not losing this one is more important to me than winning the other two (borrowing bama terminology).

I hate the gumps

Oh I enjoyed the hell out of all of them too. I'm certain the 07 season took quite a few years off of my life though.

I kind of agree. Not finishing this off would be pretty devastating.

The fact that we are undefeated and have a chance to beat Saban/Bama (again) in the dome is just too perfect.

I cannot wait.

I agree for several reasons.

1. Perfection. We have never been 14-0.
2. This will go down as the greatest season in college football history.
3. This team will be in discussion for one of the greatest teams of all time.
4. Who better to beat in the NC game than Alabama and Nick Saban?

Although we are undefeated and we beat bama already it sort of still has the feel of us being the team that has something left to prove. All we hear all over the place is that bama is better and did win/should have won if it weren't for *Insert excuse here. I hope our players feel that way too and prove a point from the first play to the last. I'd enjoy every second of a +17 point victory.

I've never had a game, much less a CHAMPIONSHIP game that I didn't want LSU to win.

That said... win or lose, it has been a great season in my opinion and my day and the rest of the year are not made or ruined by winning or losing this game.

It's not even about nick saban to me anymore. Before I saw him as the coach of LSU standing on the Alabama sideline. Now he is the coach of Alabama standing on the Alabama sideline...and I enjoy the shite out of our coach.

03-Fat girl at the prom. Just happy to be there.

07-Amazing how everything happened just as it had to. The Saturday after the Arkansas game was crazy.

11-Chance at perfection. 14-0.

Few questions for you..please answer honestly

Are you a season ticket holder?
If yes, did you make every game?
If yes to question one, how early did you leave the stadium for games?
Are you a fan of all college football, or pretty much just LSU?
Can you name over 75% of LSU's starters?
How many away games did you not get to watch on tv?
Did you ever tell someone inside the stadium to sit down bc they were blocking your view?

If anything tops 03 it would be this year. In 03 I was in disbelief we were actually playing for it all (not far removed from the early 90's)but now I expect to win championships. Beating bama twice will make this one the best though IMO.

Yeah a loss in 03 would not have stung nearly as bad as a loss this year would. I was in awe just watching LSU in that game. The fact that we won was just that much better.

It definitely means more because we are playing Alabama. If we were playing against Ok St we would be going against an all time mediocre program. Besting Bama is the cream of the crop.

Knocking off all time elite programs like Oklahoma, Ohio State and now Bama, make these even more special.

The present will always be more relevant than the past.
