LINK I am a DIE-HARD LSU FAN and I agree with most of the people on here that LSU would lose to just about all of the NFL teams. And I might just be talking out of my arse on this one, but does anyone remember in 1980 when the USA hockey team, which was compiled with young college kids, beat the USSR? This was the biggest upset of all time and I know that hockey is completely different than football, but if LSU played the Colts 10 times, I honestly think they could win one. In football it doesn't come down to the x's and o's, athletic ability, size, speed, durability, or discipline. It comes down to who wants it more. And I can for sure as hell tell you that is one thing that LSU plays with.

If LSU played the Colts the Colts would win all 10 times. Do you honestly understand the difference in talent. Curtis Painter would throw for about 350 yards, Wayne and Garcon would run circles around our db's, and Freeny and Mathis would sack JJ/JL every play.

There's a reason that players from the best CFB teams go into the NFL and struggle to beat out other guys.

For instance, Rohan and Josh Reed owned here, but neither has become worht much of anything int he NFL.

LOL: if they played in a game and every Colt tore their ACL...maybe we would have a chance.

You can't compare sports, and the Leap to the NFL is absurd. Saying every player for LSU will start in the NFL, because all the players on the Colts do...It only takes one weak DB, DL, LB...and they are lit up all day long. Same with OLine, a QB that can't read the blitz.

GAWD ALMIGHTY....We sound like 2003 Oklahoma fans...and you see how that turned out for them..

No chance, ever, not in 100 tries, to beat an NFL team.

That first half in the Georgia Dome would look like an offensive explosion compared to what our O would look like against an NFL defense.

I do believe that this year's LSU defense is so good that there is a chance that a really bad NFL team might not score on every possession. That's about the best you could hope for.

I love it when people start these arguments. The NFL is a complete other level. It's why i always laugh when people ask why kids don't just jump from high school to the NFL. Could you see Ray Lewis drilling some 18 year old RB full sprint? He might kill him.

Did you see the Saints/Colts game this year? That pathetic Colts team would curb stomp LSU 10 times out of 10.

I disagree, it has to do with system as well. ryan perrilloux went to JACK STATE and struggled bad. So your point that they are just that much better isn't necessarily true. It has boat loads to do with coaches, preparation, players drive, etc.

This may be the dumbest comment ever made on here. And that's saying a lot. Are you 12?
