This whole coaching staff has done well this season. Cooper, Haley, Wilson all have their respective units playing well. But I think people are over looking WR coach Bill Gonzales.

We had some drops early in the season, but since then the WR corps has been nothing short of A+. They're catching everything, blocking extremely well on runs , and doing a lot of little things correctly.

Randle had one of the best seasons for an LSU receiver. How he wasn't 1st team All-SEC I'll never know. Legit deep threat and making guys miss after the catch.

Beckham was emerged as one of the best yound receivers in the country. Shepard has improved imensely. Boone and Wright have been solid as 4 and 5 receivers, and Landry has performed well when on the field. People notice his big hits on special teams, but he's done very well in run blocking.

I know this isn't popular on the rant, but I'd say Gonzo has done a great job with our receivers this year.

Hard to really tell, LSU has not needed a passing offense to win any games this year.

I think Randle has been targeted too much and not enough development of other receivers has occurred, no throws to Jarvis Landry hardly at all. Would love to see Landry more involved on offense.

You can book it Bama will take Randle out of the game.

I think our own passing offense will do that to us more so than Bama ever could

looking back, it's even more weird they had that one atrocious game of the "dropsies" when Jefferson first came back and was sitting on the bench.

Not having a passing QB worth a frick is what caused all that. When your QB sucks, throwing it to your best proven WR when you have to is going to be your best bet. Also, most teams have their targets heavily favored towards their #1 by a longshot I'd imagine.
