Pitch to Spencer Ware, Jefferson cuts back around the outside of the defense then the former QB Ware throws it to the 6'5 Jefferson for a touchdown.

I bet Bama's defense is a little more disciplined than Indiana's.

This would never work against Bama.

Jefferson's size and speed just begs for trick play in which someone throws him the ball. He's 6'5 or 6'6 225 with decent speed. Who knows if he can catch but if he can, it baffles me why we haven't seen it yet

Yeah, just like a reverse to the TE would never work.

I've been waiting for a halfback pass all year.

I really liked "the delayed counter trey that people have been running since Joe Gibbs."

Toss dive(which we run abt 10 times a game) to Ware, and he jump passes it to someone. I think it would work in a short yardage situation.

This would definitely work against Bama but it's gotta be a pitch to the outside

Too funny. Thought about this last night but not from the Wisconsin game -- remembered it from "The Waterboy".

Our coaches need think outside the box:
Give TM7 more touches! Put him on offense, throw him a few passes in the flat and watch the defense try to contain him. If eight players missed him on the punt return, he only needs to out fake two or three and he would be gone.

Ware was a good throwing QB at Princeton HS in Cincinnati. LINK

Could work with R Shepard as well.

These things don't intrinsically work. They work when used properly after scouting the opponent and identifying guys who don't stick with their assignments. After identifying two or three of these, the coaches will have the team practice the appropriate trick plays. Then they'll scout during the game to make sure the tendency is still evident. Then, if the right situation arises, they spring the trap. It's just not as simple as "run the trick play".
