From what I hear, the plan coming out of half time was to go with Lee. However, when we took the ball in prime scoring position, he went with Jefferson as he had all season in that position. After we scored we got the ball back again in prime scoring position. Then we scored again. At that point, the two touchdowns had taken any need to put Lee in away.

I am sure Lee felt like Lucy pulled away his football, but it was the right call.

Kragthorped discussed on the radio last night

Lee was planned 1st half and second half, but the game and feild position didn't unfold correct, or as hoped

simple as that

I can't argue with this, but Lol, why insult the kid by giving him 1 snap at the end? Insult that poor kid that way

was it an insult or just making sure he technically played in the SEC champ game?

let see, Lee was good enough for all situations in the first half of the season, JJ threw for all of 30 yards, I wonder what Miles would consider as a bad enough game for JJ in order to put Lee in. One other thing, I did not see Lee anywhere during the ceremony trophy presentation. He should have ben front and center. TAKE A KNEE LAST PLAY. He has been bitch slapped by his own coach. Got it off my chest now you can all beat on me.

Clearly field positon is the deciding factor if JL is capeable of leading the offense.

So the plan was to not get a single first down? Miles is crafty.

Does the game and field position ever go as planned?? Just a thought...

Regardless of what "appearances" are, I am not going to second guess Miles and Staff...

Let me just say for the record, the team does not (from where I sit) seem to be disgruntled with who is playing QB. So I say whatever is happening in the QB position the rest of the team seems to be ok with it.

I think there are too many pro JJ and pro JL folks that have too much emotionally invested in who is playing QB.

I for one have a great deal of respect of JL and am grateful LSU has two quarterbacks that puts our team in a position to win.

Geaux Tigers!!

This is how I look at it.

I have not been particularly happy with the respective length of "leashes" for LSU's QB's, but if anything, Miles' giving Lee the last snaps was a "gift", and if anything, a possible "insult" to Jefferson, who had started the entire game.

I have a feeling that Lee will play a prominent role in the BCSCG.

Sure is.

Although I recall in a hostile environment early in the year, against Miss. State, a play action one receiver route to Randle being dialed up. And Lee completed it to get us out of our own endzone.

I have a hard time believing Les has so little confidence in him, with some of the play calling made early in year, such as 3rd and 1 PA to Beckham against WVU.

Sure. And I've got a bridge for sale.

If a change wasn't made during the worst half of offensive (and it WAS offensive) football since the forward pass became popular, it never will. Les can talk all he wants about playing the QB that gives us the best chance to win, if that was JJ in the first half of that game then Sabin is a humble man.

I'll bet you $100 that Lee doesn't play unless JJ gets hurt or LSU is up by 5 touchdowns. PayPal.
